Hult Prize 2024 Semi Finals
The semi-finale of the Hult Prize at IOE, 2024 was an electrifying event brimming with innovation, passion, and a shared commitment to addressing pressing global challenges. Hosted by the Public Relations Manager, Ms Riyaj Nepal, the event kicked off with a warm welcome speech from our esteemed campus director, Mr Aditya Pandey, setting the stage for an inspiring journey through ingenious solutions proposed by budding entrepreneurs.
The event commenced with the unveiling of groundbreaking projects aimed at tackling some of the world's most pressing issues. From plastic waste management to revolutionizing agriculture, each team presented their vision with clarity and determination. The event showcased a diverse array of innovative solutions to pressing global challenges. From Brickstics' revolutionary approach to plastic waste management through the production of lightweight, Lego-like bricks, to Vision Krishi's integration of IoT technology to empower farmers with real-time weather forecasts and crop knowledge, each project presented a unique vision for a sustainable future. Ulka addressed the transition to electric vehicles by proposing a decentralized charging infrastructure, while Drishya aimed to improve literacy among the visually impaired with AI-equipped glasses. Hustle offered vocational services through a user-friendly app, and Farmroot bridged the gap between farmers and consumers with direct channels for agricultural produce. The Original introduced Digi-Agro, a soil monitoring device for farmers, while Wayu tackled air pollution by manufacturing tiles from PM 2.5 particles. Ctrl, Alt n Dlt addressed traffic congestion with IntelliSignal, and Banana Fiber explored banana trunk utilization as a sustainable alternative to plastic and paper. These diverse ideas collectively underscored the power of innovation and collaboration in addressing the world's most pressing challenges.
The event concluded with the announcement of finalists, leaving the audience inspired by the ingenuity and passion displayed by each team.
