Pulchowk Campus Orientation

Hult Prize was back at IOE, Pulchowk Campus with a bang with the first on-campus event Pulchowk Campus Orientation. The orientation was held on 21st December 2021 in Library Hall at Pulchowk Campus. The event was magnified by the presence of Campus Chief, Dr. Indra Prasad Acharya, and Dean, Prof. Dr. Sashidhar Ram Joshi of IOE Pulchowk Campus. Dr. Basanta Joshi, the assistant professor at the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, energized the pool of participants with his insightful talk on technological advancement and its effects in the modern era. The event received immense support from the Hult Nepal community as well, marked by the gracious presence of the community builder, Mr. Sujan Shrestha himself. Mr. Shrestha elaborated this year’s theme “Getting the World Back to Work ” to the audience.

This event was completed with over 200+ door registration and 100+ pre-registration and was quite motivating to see the energy of undergraduates in the room. As the event advanced, a note about the On-campus was given voice to by the Campus Director Mr. Bishal Bashyal and the Event Manager Ms. Supriya Khadka of Hult Prize at IOE 2021/22. All the campus representatives selected from 10 different campuses were present at the orientation who were keen to energize the revolution at their home college.

The event was one and half hours long and there were two pleasing musical performances at the end which was the cherry on the cake in the orientation.
